WALL-E Video Clip:
A Typical Day at Work

WALL-E has become a sentient robot over the last 700 years of doing the same job day in and day out: Compacting trash. This video clip shows a typical day at work and how his sense of curiosity has developed. Often times he will come across objects that fascinate him and he keeps a BnL cooler with him to stash little treasures he comes across to add to the collection in his truck.

His only friend is a cockroach named Hal, and in this scene he accidentally rolls over Hal and shows great concern for his buddy. Hal pops right back, unhurt, since cockroaches are tough creatures.

This lovable robot finds many fun things as he compacts garbage. The most hilarious part of this clip is when he finds a lady's bra and assumes it's for the eyes, as he covers his with it like a blind fold.

He also finds a car alarm remote and pushes the button, and we hear somewhere in the distance the chirping sound of the car alarm being deactivated.

Another find is a blue velvet box with a diamond ring inside. He's not interested in the sparkling, valuable gem so he tosses it. He likes the soft box with the cool hinges and tosses it into the cooler with the rest of his treasures.

In this video clip, WALL-E finds items he will later use in the story: the boot to hold the plant and the fire extinguisher that will propel him through space. While he doesn't actually keep the this extinguisher, he learns how to use it and that saves him when he escapes the pod set for self destruction.

Enjoy the video!
