Other Minor Characters

Scattered throughout the film are some memorable background Cars movie characters. These minor characters may make a short appearance in the film, but by the time you finish reading this page, know who they are!

Deliquent Road Hazards

This is the group of four mischievous cars done up like street racers. These Cars movie characters mess with Mack by playing soft music to put him to sleep and then they nudge him to the side of the road. When Snot Rod sneezes loudly, that wakes Mack off, so these pranksters speed off.

Boost

Boost is the purple 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse who uses nitrous tanks to give him bursts of speed.

DJ

DJ is a blue low-riding 2004 Scion xB with a fancy sound system. Check out all these cool DJ cars you can buy...

Snot Rod

Snot Rod is an orange 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with a huge engine rising up through his hood. He's a bit dorky and he always sneezes, which makes him really funny!

Wingo

Wingo is a fast Nissan Silvia with a tall spoiler and a fancy purple and green paint job with neat looking headlights. I think Wingo looks AWESOME!

Tia and Mia

These two red Mazda Miata twin sisters are Lightning McQueen's most devoted fans. They're seen at the beginning of the film in the stands cheering him on. However, after McQueen goes missing, Tia and Mia decide to follow Chick Hicks instead.

Rusty and Dusty

Rusty is an old Doge Dart and Dusty is a old Dodge van and they're the founders of Rust-eze Bumper ointment. Rust-eze is Lightning McQueen's sponsor and Rusty and Dusty host the hospitality tent to help promote their product. Their jokes are as old and worn out as they are and McQueen has to endure an appearance to keep them happy.

Bessie

Bessie is Radiator Springs' road paving machine. She's big, hot and heavy and spurts out molten tar now and then. Lightning McQueen gets the privilege of working with Bessie and although the first try was a dud to make a new road, the second attempt left a beautifully smooth, black street.

Frank

Frank the Combine is a huge bull-like harvester who watches over the herd of cow-like tractors. Frank is easily provoked and when Lightning McQueen and Mater go tractor tipping one night, Frank chases them away, terrifying McQueen. You won't believe these Frank toys...
