The 13th animated film by Pixar Brave shall be cast in 3-D and is slated for release on June 22, 2012.

Pixar Brave Synopsis
Taking place in Scotland during medieval times, an impulsive, headlong princess named Merida intends to defy tradition as she prefers to make her mark as a great archer. A clash of wills with her mother compels Merida to make a reckless choice, which unleashes unintended peril on her father's kingdom and her mother's life. Merida struggles with the unpredictable forces of nature, magic and a dark, ancient curse to set things right. (Original text by a Disney Press Release dated April 8, 2008)
Mark Andrews described Princess Merida in a recent interview as being an "ani-princess" because she doesn't like to wear nice clothes and only will when her strict mother forces her to for special occasions. Merida prefers outdoor life and escapes the castle at every opportunity to explore the woods.
Brave will focus less on "girl power" and more on the the relationship between Merida and her mother, who have opposing personalities. While this film apprears darker than the previous Toy Story 3 and Cars 2 movies, there will be plenty of comedy and light hearted fun that makes Pixar movies so endearing.
I'm REALLY looking forward to this one!
