First off, thank you for visiting my website!

If you're like me, one of the first places I like to visit on a website is the "About Us" page. Who is behind the words and ideas of this site?

I'm married to my Thai husband, whose nickname is Golf (given to all Thai children). I met him when I lived and worked in Bangkok, but he had spent about a decade in my hometown in the Bay Area, California. What a coincidence!

The family picture above was taken on our trip to Bangkok, Thailand, in 2008 to visit my husband's family so they could get to know Aidan better. My husband's real name is Adissapong and so our family is all "A" names.

I work as a substitute teacher now that we're back in the United States, because having a flexible schedule for our young son, Aidan is very important.

Since having Aidan and exploring the world of animation at a closer level, I realized how utterly wonderful Pixar is. The more I learned the more I loved what I learned. I love that I can share this passion I've developed for Pixar with you on The Leaping Lamp.
