Monsters University
Exciting Prequel to Pixar's Monsters Inc.

As we look forward to the release of the upcoming feature films Cars 2 and Brave we will turn our attention to Pixar's first prequel feature film, Monsters University.

Originally known as Monsters Inc. 2, this feature film is being directed by Dan Scanlon, who brought the short film Mater and the Ghostlight to life.

There had been some shuffling around with the release date before finally deciding on June 21, 2013, and who knows if even THAT date is set in stone. They were originally going to have it set for November 2012, but that would put it only months behind Brave's release. Then there's the figuring out which movies to compete with - they didn't want to compete with Twilight fans in November, either, because of the last installment, Breaking Dawn.

Voice Talent

I'm really excited to know that both actors who played the voices of Sulley and Mike will be returning for these two characters again! But what about Randall Boggs? Is he going to be a part of MU? Steve Buscemi did an outstanding job on Boggs and I hope he returns. More to come as the news trickles forth!

Plot

Mike and Sulley are a dynamic duo in Monsters Inc. But these two friends weren't always so close. Back at University they actually despised one another! This movie uncovers the secret to what happened between them that caused them to overlook their differences and become friends.
