Emile is the Best

Remy's brother, Emile is so big and goofy and cute. He doesn't understand his foodie brother; give Emile any old piece of garbage and he's happy to eat it. I really loved the scene in the movie where Remy tries to make him understand good food but Emile doesn't get it. But Emile at least gave it a try and even though he doesn't understand his brother's attitudes, he's open to trying because he loves Remy.


Emile doesn't have Remy's sophisticated views about life - he's a very simple rat. But simple personality makes him a very nice guy. He reminds Remy to love and rely on his family and at the end of the story, Emile is right by Remy's side helping with the others in the rat colony to run the kitchen the night of Anton Ego's visit.

Yeah, Emile's just good hearted through and through.
