Finding Nemo Video Clip:
Nemo Escapes the Fish Tank

The Tank Gang, in the Pixar film Finding Nemo, is terrorized by dreaded Darla, Dr. Sherman's niece. She's first seen tap, tap, tapping on the aquarium glass. Poor little Peach, the sea star, tells herself to "find a happy place" over and over again as she's knocked off the side. Bloat is fully puffed out.

Darla's come in for a dental appointment and to receive her birthday gift: Nemo. Dr. Sherman has him ready in a plastic bag waiting next to the tank, but Nemo is playing dead so he won't be given to Darla. The other fish in the tank know Nemo is just pretending and cheer him on as it looks like the dentist is heading toward the toilet to flush him down into the ocean. But Dr. Sherman heads toward the trash can instead and the cheers turn to worried cries.

At that moment, Nigel the Pelican arrives with both Marlin and Dory in his mouth. Marlin sees Nemo just about ready to be thrown away and he yanks on Nigel's tongue to get him to go inside, causing chaos in the room: screaming, knocking over equipment, jumping around. Patients in the waiting room are worried when they hear the dentist drill and all that screaming!

The bag with Nemo lands on the equipment tray and at that moment, Marlin sees Nemo playing dead. He doesn't know Nemo is just pretending, though, and he feels devastated. Dr. Sherman captures Nigel and tosses him out the window, Dory and Marlin still in his mouth.
