I Am Your Father

The best section of Toy Story 2 was the elevator scene when the "fake" Andy's Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg are fighting. This scene totally reminded me of Star Wars Episode 2, when Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are fighting. Not in the rip-off sort of way, but a funny parody of it.
The best part was after Zurg had defeated "fake" Buzz, Zurg tells him "I am your father". The reaction on "fake" Buzz's face was classic. What made it even better, was right after Zurg’s declaration, Rex body-checks Zurg right off the elevator, followed by an "Evil Emperor"-style fall.
Rex finally gets the satisfaction of beating Emperor Zurg (even though he had been trying to beat the video game version of Zurg) and poor "fake" Buzz reaches for his father. I admit, it was a little sad but the events happened so fast, it's hard to imagine how quickly "fake" Buzz would have accepted Zurg so quickly.
All-in-all, it was an awesome scene. But if I was to say who made Toy Story 2 most memorable for me, it would have to be Woody. A little conceited at times, but definitely still has a lot of heart in him. You could almost feel his bravery has he rescued Jessie from a moving plane as you sit at the edge of your seat at the end.
