Finding Nemo Characters:
The Coral Reef
The Finding Nemo characters who live in the beautiful coral reef are colorful and memorable. The beginning of the movie takes place in a stunningly beautiful and and realistic-looking coral reef. But despite how lovely it is, danger still lurks. Life does go on, though, and so read on about the creatures who make up this coral reef community.
Coral
Coral is Marlin's wife and Nemo's mother. It was implied in Finding Nemo that she perished in a barracuda attack. Coral tried protecting her eggs, but they were lost as well, except for one that would later become Nemo. Coral's wish was to name at least one of their children Nemo and that's what Marlin did in her honor.
Bill, Bob and Ted
These guys are the dads who drop off their kids on the first day of school. They're all friends who try and give Marlin a chance in joining their group, but Marlin is just too anxious. He also can't pull off a funny joke for this group of dads! Bill is Tad's father and he's a Yellow Longnose Butterflyfish.
Bob is Sheldon's dad and is a seahorse.
Ted is a flapjack octopus and is Pearl's papa.
Tad, Pearl and Sheldon
These characters are the three students in the coral reef school who befriend Nemo. They're each really cute!
Tad's the little fish and Sheldon is a young seahorse who claims he's H20 intolerant. Pearl is the plump pink octopus who squirts ink when she's startled and makes Nemo feel better when she tells him that one of her tentacles is smaller than the others.
Mr. Ray
An eagle ray who sings songs, Mr. Ray is the teacher for all the young coral reef animals.
Mr. Johanson
Mr. Johanson looks like a halibut of some sort - he's a flat grey fish with eyes on one side only. He stays underneath a thin layer of sand and the children tease him by chasing him around and around by hiding on the side of him that has no eyes to see them. He acts like a grumpy old man.
